SkinSimple uses a deterministic rules engine built on established cosmetic science, not crowdsourced opinions or AI guessing. Ingredients are scored based on known irritants, comedogenic ratings, and how they interact with specific skin types and conditions.
No. The subscription is the business model. We charge you so we never have to sell your data. No ads, no data monetization, no conflicting incentives. Your skin profile stays on your device.
Yes. SkinSimple is offline-first. Our product catalog and scoring engine work locally on your device, so you can scan products in stores with bad cell service — exactly when you need it most.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, select SkinSimple, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
